(“we” “us” or “our”).  We understand that you may be concerned about our collection, use and disclosure of your information.  Accordingly, we have implemented this Privacy Policy (“Policy”) to describe the types of information that we collect, what we do with it, how we protect it, and when we disclose it to third parties.

What Categories Of Information Are Collected Through The Web Site?

  • Licensor.  Our Web Site markets, promotes and sells Britney Spears (“Licensor”) merchandise.  We may disclose your personal information to Licensor, her representatives and advisors.
  • Other Disclosure.  We will disclose your personal information without your consent to prevent an emergency, to protect or enforce our rights, to protect or enforce the rights of a third party, or as required or permitted by law (including, without limitation, to comply with a subpoena or court order).

Can I Review and Change My Personal Information?

We endeavor to keep our customer records complete and accurate.  If your personal information has changed, if you believe that we have incorrect personal information about you, or if you simply want to review your personal information for accuracy, please access your account by inserting your email address and password and follow the instructions for reviewing and updating your account information.  If you do not have an account with us, you may contact our Customer Service Department by sending an email to customerservice@britneyspears.com or calling toll free at 1-877-780-5533 (United States) or 1-818-908-0569 (outside of the United States).  To modify your e-mail subscriptions, please let us know by modifying your preferences in the "My Account" section.  Please note that due to email production schedules you may receive any emails already in production.  To delete all of your online account information from our database, sign into the “My Account” section of our Web Site and remove your shipping address, billing address and payment information.  This will effect a deletion of all of your information which we may hold, however, please note that we may retain information about your sales transactions in order to service those transactions and for record keeping, for such reasonable period of time as may be required in connection with any question concerning such transactions.

How Do We Protect Your Personal Information?

Whenever we obtain your personal information, we will implement and maintain reasonable practices to protect your personal information from unauthorized access or disclosure.  When you place orders or access your personal information, we offer the use of a secure server.  All sensitive/credit information you supply is transmitted via Secure Socket Layer (SSL) technology and then encrypted into our databases to be accessible by a limited number of persons who have special access rights to such systems and are required by contract to keep the information confidential.  While we will use such efforts, we cannot and will not act as insurers of the security of your personal information.  Accordingly, we assume no liability for any disclosure of data due to errors in transmission, unauthorized third-party access or other acts of third parties, or acts or omissions beyond our reasonable control.

What About Children’s Personal Information?

We do not collect or maintain information from children we know are under 13.  Children under 13 may browse our online store but may not create an online account, order merchandise, create a wish list, subscribe to our newsletter or enter our online contests or sweepstakes.
